Ingredients:

1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. grated lime zest
2 cups sugar, preferably superfine (use food processor on granulated)
1 pinch of salt
2 cups heavy cream (whipping)
2 cups milk

Directions:

Combine lime juice, lime zest, sugar and salt. Mix well. Gradually stir in the cream and then the milk. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight. Stir mixture and pour into ice cream maker.
