Servings:

2-1/2 dozen

Prep. Time:

Total Time:

Ingredients:

2 pkg. (10 oz. each) mint chocolate chips
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Melt one package of chocolate chips and set aside. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, and melted chocolate. In several additions add the flour mixture. Stir in remaining bag of chocolate chips. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°F. The cookies will look slightly underdone.

Comments from Stephane Corbe :

It is important that you not add all the flour in at once, or else thecookie dough will not hold together on the baking sheet. You'll then have to press the dough together with your hands and the cookies will come out dense.
