Ingredients:

1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter
4 squares semisweet chocolate
2 eggs
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

1. Combine 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour and 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture is crumbly.

2. Press evenly in a 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.

3. Melt 4 squares baking chocolate over hot water; cool.

4. Combine 2 lightly beaten eggs, 1/2 cup corn syrup and 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar; blend in 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour and melted chocolate.

5. Pour over baked crust. Sprinkle 1 cup chopped nuts over surface.

6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until set.
