2 sm. pkgs cherry jello (or 1 lge)
1 can dark, pitted, sweet, cherries
1 can crushed pineapple
1 oz. pkg cream cheese, room temp.
10 fl. oz. Coke
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Drain juices from fruit into medium sauce pan. Heat to boiling. Remove from heat and stir in jello until completely dissolved. Add cream cheese and stir/beat until smooth and creamy. Pour into large punch or trifle size bowl. Add coke and pecans and stir well. Refrigerate until set firmly.
Note: I like to stir salad a couple time in the first 20 minute, to mix up the fruit that rises to the top.

This recipe is from my Mom's cookbook. Not a published cookbook but her on personal collection of tried and true gems that my sister's and I grew up eating and loving! Every holiday gettogether my family still requests this favorite treat. Hope you enjoy!
