Prep. Time:

1:00

Total Time:

Ingredients:

1 lb. of stew, steak meat
2 cups sliced button or baby bella mushrooms
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tbsp. olive oil
3 cups V8 juice
1/2 cup sour cream
Egg noodles

Directions:

Heat pan over medium heat and sautee mushrooms (
not completely done, because they will continue to
cook in the sauce) for a few minutes with olive oil. Set
aside.
Season meat with salt and pepper, and brown.
Drain access fat.
Add V8 juice and mushrooms and lots of pepper.
Simmer for about 40 minutes, but the longer it
simmers the yummier the sauce will be, and more
tender the meat.
Add sour cream for the last 15 minutes.

Serve over egg noodles.

Comments from desertrat22 :

This recipe is really easy, and of course really delicious.
You only need a few staple ingredients. Plus it's pretty
healthy because of the V8 and the lean steak meat.
