Ingredients:

3/4 lb. beef, cut in to thin stripes about 2 in. in length
3 cups bite sized broccoli florets
4 cloves garlic, minced
5 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. sherry wine
1/4 cup oyster sauce
3 tbsp. sesame seed oil or vegetable oil

Directions:

In a large bowl add together the beef strips,soy sauce pepper and sugar cover and marinade for 3 hours.
Bring a large pot of water to boil and par boil the broccoli for about 1 1/2 minutes and drain in a colander.when beef is done marinating
Bring a large saute pan to medium high heat.
Add 2 tablespoons of the oil and add the garlic to the saute pan and fry for about 10 seconds. add broccoli stir fry till tender crisp
Add the remaining oil if needed and stir fry the beef until just under done.
Add the sherry and oyster sauce. add cornstarch mixed with a little bit of cold water to thicken sauce if need be.
Stir fry for 1 minute making sure broccoli and beef is thoroughly coated with sauce.
Serve over hot white rice.
