Ingredients:

1 pkg. oreo cookies, crushed
1 bar cream cheese, room temp
1 stick butter/margarine, room temp
1 cup powdered sugar
3 cups milk
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tub coolwhip topping, thawed

Directions:

Crush oreos until fine like sand.

With a mixer, blend cream cheese, butter, and sugar until creamy.

In a separate bowl mix the milk and pudding and vanilla.

Blend the pudding with the cream cheese mix until well blended. Add in the cool whip and stir gently with spoon/spatula.

I use a medium sand pail and pour cookie crumbs in first, then spoon filling in, then more cookies and more filling until the pail is full. The top layer should be cookie crumbs.

Put in fridge to chill a half hour before serving.

I have also made it with vanilla sandwhich cookies and butterscotch pudding (leave out the vanilla extract then) and called it sand cake. Its good too!
