Ingredients:

Unbaked pie shell
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecan pieces
1 stick margarine, melted and cooled
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chocolate chips and pecans in pie shell. Mix remaining ingredients and pour into pie shell. Bake for 30 minutes. Let set to cool and firm.

Many diners who came to Anna & Pierre's Restaurant in the mid-80's took home whole Derby pies. Delicious served heated with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
