Ingredients:

2 cups masa harina (corn flour)
1-1/3 cups warm water (approximately)
1 tsp. salt

Directions:

Blend flour and salt, then add water gradually to form a soft dough. Divide into small balls about 2 inches in diameter. Place a ball of dough between two sheets of waxed paper in a tortilla press and flatten to about 5 to 6 inches in diameter Place tortilla in ungreased cast iron skillet or comal and cook over moderate heat about 2 minutes on each side, until slightly browned. Makes 1 dozen tortillas.
