1-1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 6 slices and pounded thin
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. marjoram
6 sm. white onions
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 can (20 oz.) tomatoes
2 tbsp. prepared horseradish

Directions:

Cut the steak in 6 slices and pound thin. Season the meat with the salt and pepper; sprinkle the top sides with the marjoram. Place an onion on each and roll up; tie with thread or fasten with toothpicks. Roll the birds in the flour.
Heat the oil in a heavy skillet and brown the rolls on all sides. Pour off the fat. Add the tomatoes and horseradish; cover and cook over low heat 1 1/2 hours. Taste for seasoning. Serves 6.
