Ingredients:

1 lg. onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, seed and chopped or other very hot peppers
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
1-1/4 tsp. ground cumin
3/4 tsp. ground coriander
1/2 tsp. salt
4 halibut steaks, 1 inch thick (about 2 pounds)

Directions:

(M’too-zee wah sah-mah-kee) The hallmark of much of African Cooking is the hot and peppery nature.
