Ingredients:

8 oz. Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls
2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 cup butter
1 cup nut halves or chopped nuts (pecans)
1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Pat separated crescent dough in ungreased 15x10-inch jelly roll pan. Seal perforations. In small saucepan combine sugar and butter and boil 1 minute. Pour evenly over dough and sprinkle with nuts. Bake 14 to 18 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 2 to 3 minutes. Swirl chocolate unevenly. Cool. Cut.

Comments from Pat Timpanaro :

Do NOT substitute margarine for the butter. My friend Regina made these and they were wonderful. I gave the recipe to my mother and hers were at best mediocre. I questioned her as to what she had changed and it was the substitution of margarine for the butter.
