Total Time:

Ingredients:

250 ml very warm water
5 ml sugar
15 ml yeast
15 ml oil
5 ml salt
25-1/2 fl. oz. flour (approximately)

Directions:

Dissolve sugar in warm water. Add yeast and let sit 10 minutes.

Add salt and oil to yeast. Gradually mix in enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead dough for 3 minutes. Roll dough into a rectangle 1/4 of an inch thick. Cover and let stand 20 minutes.

Cut dough into serving size squares and poke holes with a fork. Fry in 1/2 inch of oil over medium heat. Turn over when browned. Drain on paper towel. Rub with a fresh garlic clove and sprinkle with salt. Serve warm.
