Ingredients:

1 lb. frozen kernel corn
12 oz. whipping cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pinch white pepper
1-1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1-1/2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. parmesan cheese

Directions:

Combine corn, cream, sugar, salt, and pepper in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Make a roux by melting the butter in another pot, then slowly whisk in the flour until thick and paste-like. Add the roux to the corn mixture and mix well, remove from heat. Pour the corn mixture into a shallow baking or casserole dish. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top and put under the broiler until melted and lightly brown.

Comments from jmechang :

This is the best creamed corn I've ever had.
