1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup flour
2/3 cup dried apricots
1 cup water
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup flaked coconut (optional)
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar, for decoration
