Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/4 cups flour (could use whole wheat)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup corn flakes
2/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Beat butter and sugar together. Add egg and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda. Gradually beat flour mixture into butter mixture. Stir in cornflakes and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet or use 1-1/2 inch cookie scoop. Bake at 350°F for 11 minutes Cool on wire rack.

This is a great recipe for using up that little bit of cornflakes in the box. This makes 26 cookies using a 1-1/2 inch cooking scoop.
