4 lg. apples
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup 1-inch bread cubes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup raisins

Directions:

Hollow out the contents of the apples into a medium bowl leaving a thick layer in the skin, put the shells in a muffin tin and set aside.
Chop hollowed out apple into small bits. Combine chopped apple with eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, bread, sugar, and raisins. Stuff the contents into the hollowed out apples. Put a small pat of butter on top of each apple. Bake in the oven at 300°F until apple is soft and the stuffing is no longer runny. Serve warm.

If you are of drinking age, Kahlua or Baileys can be substituted for the vanilla extract.
