Dough:
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 cup lukewarm milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3-1/2 to 4 cups bread flour
Filling:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 butter
Icing:
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk in a large bowl, let proof for about 5-10 minutes. Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs and flour (enough flour just to make it workable). Knead the dough for 5 minutes. (I use my Kitchenaide mixer, knead for 2 minutes, let sit for 1, knead for another 2 minutes.)
Place dough in oiled bowl, cover, sit in warm place, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch down and let rise again, for about 30 minutes. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface until it is approximately 21x12-inches.
To make filling, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread softened butter on the dough and sprinkle brown sugar/cinnamon mixture on the dough. Working from the long side, roll the dough to the other side, pinching the edge to the roll. Cut the dough in 1-1/2 inch pieces and place on a baking sheet. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake for 10 minutes. For icing, combine, butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Let cool slightly and spread icing over the rolls.
