3 cups all-purpose flour
6 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. yeast

Add ingredients according to your bread machine order and set on dough cycle. Turn out on lightly floured board. Roll out to a rectangle about 10x18 inches. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Starting with long end, carefully roll up; pinch seams together. Measure and cut 1 inch slices.
Place on buttered baking sheet, cover with a dampened towel and let rise in a warm place away from drafts, for 45 minutes to one hour. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes, or until browned.
Mix together ingredients for cinnamon butter glaze in saucepan. Bring to boil and drizzle over buns.

These cinnamon buns were wonderful. The dough it self is amazing. I added raisins to the dough. Was going to make a cream cheese icing but they did not even last long enough on the counter to do so. Will definitely be making again and again. |
