Total Time:

Ingredients:

10 oz. semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup whipping cream

Directions:

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over warm water. Stir until the chocolate melts. Whisk the egg yolks, 1/2 cup cream, and vanilla into the melted chocolate.

In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites with 1/4 cup of the sugar until soft peaks form. Fold the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture. Whip the remaining cream until it forms soft peaks; fold into mixture. Chill until serving time.

User Reviews:

I'm a little vague on the sugar. When do you add the remaining 1/4 cup?
