Ingredients:

2 slices sandwich bread, toasted
1 can (6-1/2 oz.) tuna in spring water, drained
1 md. onion, cut in 8 to 10 slices, sauteed until tender
1 hard boiled egg, sliced with egg slicer

Souper Sauce:
1 can cream of celery soup
1/3 can milk
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup dried parsley

Directions:

In tupperware bowl, combine Souper Sauce ingredients and wisk or mix well. Place slice of toast on rimmed baking sheet. Spread half of tuna on toast. Layer half of onion slices on top of tuna. Layer half of egg slices on top of onion. Spoon sauce on top of eggs until sandwich is covered. Repeat with other slice of toast. Broil 8 or 9 minutes until sauce is bubbling and just starting to brown in spots. Transfer sandwiches to plates and eat with knife and fork.

Comments from Mike Taylor :

Electric oven: use center oven rack.
Gas oven: use lowest rack setting.

Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese before serving if desired. Refrigerate unused sauce. There will be enough left to make two more sandwiches.
