Ingredients:

1 stick butter
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
2 pkg. ramen noodles, crushed
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 head napa cabbage
1 bunch scallions

Directions:

Saute seeds, almonds and noodles in butter over medium heat until golden brown. Drain on papaer towels and cool.

Heat oil, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce until sugar dissolves. Cool.
Slice cabbage into ribbons and slice scallions thinly.

To serve, mound cabbage/onion mix in bowl, place seed/nut mix on top as you like. Stir dressing and use as much to your liking.

This recipe was given to me by my mother-in-law, who got it from her sister, who got it from another sister. Everytime I serve it, or bring it to a gathering I get lots of compliments and requests for the recipe.
