Prep. Time:

1:00

Total Time:

1:15

Ingredients:

1 to 2 loaf Pepperidge Farm Party Rye Bread
1-1/2 lb. boiled ham, sliced thin
1 lb. Swiss cheese
Various condiments to place on table

Directions:

Separate each slice of rye bread. Place a fair amount of ham on top to cover fully. Place sliced swiss cheese on top of ham. Cut ham into squares approximately the size of bread slices, making sure to overlap at least 2 slices so it falls over edge of bread. Add another slice of ham square in middle. Cut Swiss cheese a little larger than bread and place square on middle. Place on baking sheet(s) in 325°F oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted, but not browned.

Comments from Georgieanna :

These party ryes are so good you don't need to spread condiments on them. This may be prepared ahead of time and brought to room temperature and baked when your guests arrive. Enjoy!
