6 chicken breasts or chicken pieces
6 tbsp. butter
1 can (10-1/2 oz.) condensed mushroom soup
2/3 cup plain yogurt
3 tbsp. sherry
Salt and pepper, to taste
6 slices buttered white bread

Directions:

Fry chicken in butter until cooked. Arrange all in a shallow oven-proof dish. Mix soup, yogurt and sherry, season to taste; pour over chicken pieces. Lay bread slices on top buttered side up. Bake in moderate oven (180°C/350ºF/Gas Mark 6) for 15-20 minutes, until bread is golden brown. Serve with salad.
