Ingredients:

1 pkg. (10 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough (such as Pillsbury)
8 oz. marinara sauce
8 oz. sliced pepperoni
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll pizza dough. Slice into 2 equal halves. For each half, layer as follows: 1/4 cup cheese, 2 oz. pepperoni, 1/4 cup cheese, 2 oz. pepperoni. Gently pack and tightly roll each half. Tuck in ends to seal. Cut a 1/2-inch slit in top of each half. Bake on cookie sheet for 30 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Comments from Pamela :

Another favorite of my husband. Quick, easy, and often requested.

Turkey-pepperoni and part-skim mozzarella work well and there is no difference in taste.

User Reviews:

This recipe was wonderful (and simple!) as is. But I can't wait to try it again using different kinds of meats/ingredients!
