Ingredients:

1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
2 cans Comstock Instant Cherry Pie
2 cubes butter, melted
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 container (sm.) Cool Whip

Directions:

In a 9x13-inch ungreased baking pan, pour cans of pie-filling and spread evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon over the pie filling. Dump dry cake mix over the pie filling and distribute equally. Make little indentations with a spoon over all the dry cake mix. Spoon melted butter in each little indentation. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the top of all. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes, or until browned lightly on top. Cool and serve in dessert cups topped with Cool Whip.
