3 tbsp. butter
1-1/2 whole apple, peeled and sliced
1-1/2 qt. red cabbage, shredded
3/8 cup red wine vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar
3 whole cloves
3/4 cup red wine

Directions:
|
Melt butter in a large pan. Add onion and apple slices; cook until soft. Add red cabbage and stir to blend. Add vinegar, sugar, cloves and red wine. Cover and cook until the red cabbage is tender, about 20 minutes.
