Prep. Time:

Total Time:

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter or margirine
1 pkg. (lg.) cream cheese; softened
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. yellow cake mix

Directions:

Cream butter and cheese together in bowl. Blend in egg yolk and vanilla. Add dry cake mix 1/3 at a time. If using mixer add last 1/3 by hand. Mixture will be very dry, if needed you may add a touch of water to it to help mix, but it is suppose to be dry. Cover and chill for 30 mins. Heat oven to 375°F. Drop by level spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool slightly before removing from sheets.

Comments from Chantelle :

These are soft cookies. And they are very rich so go slow, because they are very hard to resist.
