Ingredients:

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter soft
1/2 cup evaporated milk
4 cups bread cubes
3 eggs, separated
1 can (16 oz) crushed pinapple juice with juice

Directions:

Mix sugar, butter, milk, and beaten egg yolks together. Stir in pinapple, mix well. Stir in bread cubes; mix until all bread is covered. Beat egg whites until stiff and they form peaks. Fold into pinapple mixture. Pour into a 2-1/2 quart baking dish greased with butter or you can use a spray. Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes or until golden brown. You can serve warm or make ahead and serve cold.
