1 cup yellow corn meal
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup milk

Directions:

Butter or spray with no stick cooking spray an 8-inch square pan. preheat oven to 400°F. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine oil, egg and milk together in a large bowl. Stir in dry ingredients just until blended. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
