Ingredients:

1/2 cup margarine
2/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup margarine, softened
2 cups light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. powdered instant coffee
3 cups quick oats
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups walnuts, chopped and divided

Directions:

Melt margarine in microwave. Add cocoa and sugar and stir. Add sweetened condensed milk. Microwave and stir to thick, smooth consistency. Remove from oven. Add 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla. Heat oven to 350°F. In large mixer bowl, beat softened margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and coffee powder. Beat well. In separate bowl, mix oats, flour, soda, salt and 1 cup of chopped nuts. Gradually add to butter mixture, the last 1/4 by hand. Remove 2 cups of mixture. Press rest into a 15-1/2x10-1/2-inch pan, ungreased. Top with chocolate filling. Sprinkle on rest of oat mixture and top with last 1/2 cup nuts. Press down lightly. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, or until golden. Cool well before cutting into bars.
