Ingredients:

2 cans (sm. each) refried beans
1 jar salsa
2 pkg. (12 oz. each) cheddar cheese
1-1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
Tortilla chips
Sour cream
Additional salsa, to taste

Directions:

Brown ground beef; drain. Add beans and jar of salsa; heat until bubbly. Add 1 bag cheese and mix well. Put in oven safe pan, top with remaining bag of cheese. Bake at 350°F until cheese on top melts completely.

ALternatively, keep on stove top on low heat. Top with remaining bag o of cheese, cover, and heat until cheese melts completely.

Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream, and if you really want it more salsa.

Will feed an army or be a good side dish at family reunions. This is a family favorite, and makes an appearance at all our holiday get togethers. It is actually easier than it sounds, and takes very little time after you get used to making it.
