Ingredients:

1 Graham cracker crust (you can make your own or use a pre-made one)
1 lg. egg white, slightly beaten
5 cups fresh peeled apples
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp. whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (we generally add a bit more)
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick melted butter

Directions:

Brush egg white on crust, bake until light brown -- about 6 minutes (if store bought). Combine apples, sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon; mix well and spoon into crust. Mix flour, sugar and butter; put on as the top of the pie in thin sheets. Bake at 375°F for about 50 minutes. Cool for about 4 hours.
