Ingredients:

1-3/4 cups flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 sticks butter
1 egg
3 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips (mini-chips are best)
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups oatmeal

Directions:

Soften the butter and place in large mixing bowl (auto-mixer works best). Add sugar and brown sugar; mix. Gradually mix in flour. Add baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Add oatmeal, one cup at a time while mixing. (Note: Dough will be dry.) Roll dough into small balls; place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.

throughout this recipe you will say to yourself one word... DRY!!! however dont wory they will come out fine.

The recipe leaves out when to add the egg and vanilla. I Think that part is pretty important.
