1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped (or less to suit taste)
1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup
1 can water
1 lb. tater tots
|
Directions:
|
Brown meat with onion. Place in bottom of a 2 qt. casserole dish. Spread tater tots over top. Mix soup and water; warm. Pour over tater tots. Bake, covered, at 350°F for 19 minutes; uncover and bake another 10 minutes.

I like this version better than the mixed vegetable
and cream of whatever soup versions. Add some
garlic to the meat/soup mixture and some italian
seasoning, if you like that. Add a layer of
cheddar cheese between the meat mixture and
the tater tots. It's not at all bad - I didn't have
any leftovers! |
