Ingredients:

1 lb. fresh shrimp, peeled, and deveined
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
4 scallions (green onion), chopped fine
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 tbsp. Tony's Creole Seasoning
1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Directions:

Boil peeled and deveined shrimp just until cooked. Chop into small pieces. Fold shrimp, scallions, jalapenos, garlic, seasoning and lemon juice into softened cream cheese. Let mixture stand overnight for flavors to blend. Serve with your choice of crackers.

Make sure the dip sets up for at least 5hours. Overnight is better. I added cooked salad shrimp so I cheated!
It was great, though. Excellent recipe!


I cheated and used frozen salad shrimp. Turned out great--terrific blend of flavors. I added a few turns of freshly cracked black pepper and a teaspoon of chopped garlic. YUM!
