Ingredients:

2 oz. margarine
2-3/4 oz. self-raising flour
1 tbsp. warmed syrup
2 oz. sugar
1 oz. rolled oats
1/4 tsp. bicarbonate of soda

Directions:

Sieve flour and soda into mixing bowl with rolled oats. Put margarine, syrup, sugar in pan over light heat. Stir. When fully melted pour into mixing bowl and stir. Take teaspoons of the mixture and roll into balls. Place on greased baking tray. Bake on top of oven for 12-15 minutes. Cool on wire tray.
