Ingredients:

1 lb. ground meat
1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage (hot or mild)
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 cup raw rice
1 can Rotel (hot or mild)
1 sm. head cabbage
1/2 stick butter
1 cup milk
1 pkg. (16 oz.) Velveeta cheese (hot or mild)
1 tsp. flour

Directions:

Cook down first 5 ingredients. Add Rotel and cabbage; cook for 10 minutes. Melt butter and cheese in microwave. Add milk and flour. Stir together and then add to meat mixture. Add rice. Put in casserole dish and bake 1 hour at 350°F or until rice is done.

Comments from Susan Beard :

Recipe may be doubled. This freezes well-just do not bake. Remove from freezer, let thaw, then bake.
