Ingredients:

2-1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup plus 2 tsp. sugar
1 orange, grated peel of
2-1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup chopped cherries
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Combine flour, sugar, orange peel, baking powder and baking soda. With pastry blender, cut in margarine until coarse. Add cranberries. Add buttermilk and vanilla and stir to combine. Form dough into 2 equal balls. Preheat oven to 400°F. On floured surface, roll dough out ½-inch thick. Cut out circles with a biscuit cutter or floured cup rim. Place on a non-stick baking sheet and cook 10-15 minutes. Cool.

Why is this called Cranberry Scones when there are only cherries in the ingredient list and not cranberries? I guess it is just a typo? Or a person could use either cherries or cranberries?

The recipe sounds good either way though!
