1 lb. ground burger (can substitute beef, turkey or chicken, ground or chunks)
1 can cream of celery soup (mushroom or chicken work too)
1 can cream corn (or equivalent amount of gravy)
1 can any other vegetable
1 box (16 oz.) elbow macaroni (egg noodles, most any pasta will work)
1 can mushrooms (optional)
1 onion, chopped (optional)
Season to taste

Directions:

Cook pasta in large pot according to directions on box. While pasta is cooking, brown burger (and onion if desired). When noodles are done, drain and mix with burger mixture in large pot. Add all other ingredients, season to taste and heat to desired temperature.

I usually season with Lawry's seasoning salt or salt and pepper. You may wish to mix all ingredients in the large pot while noodles drain in colander then add desired amount of noodles. (Some people find 16 oz. of cooked noodles to be too much to suit them)

i have been making a very simular dish for years, everyone who tastes it loves it. "Carol" obviously did something wrong if she didn't like it. |
