Black pepper
1 to 2 tbsp. oil

Directions:

Trim fat from meat, and slice in long, thin strips, add to the saute mixture. Saute onion, garlic, celery in oil. Add in ALL the water from the cans of vegetables. Add ALL the spices. Simmer for about 1 hour, until meat is soft. Add in the cans of vegetables when the meat is tender;heat all together. May thicken with a cornstarch and water mixture.

Comments from Nancy Perk Capko :

To make it a bit spicy, you may add a red pepper, or red pepper flakes to taste.

Serve over a bed of rice.

Tastes good with GARLIC BREAD.
