Comments from Nancy Perk Capko :

Try to use the 1# of meat, as the flavor is so much better when meat quantity is kept to a pound.

Sometimes I put in both bread crumbs and some quick cooking oatmeal.

Any leftovers make good, cold sandwiches. Usually I fix a gravy, and serve with mashed potatoes.

My aunt always prepares baked potatoes and baked beans with her meatloaf. All goes into the oven at the same time!
