Total Time:

Ingredients:

1 can Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust
8 eggs
1/4 cup half and half
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp. butter
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 can (3 oz.) real bacon bits
Sliced fresh tomatoes, if desired

Directions:

Heat oven to 425°F. Butter a 12-inch pizza pan or a cookie sheet. Unroll dough; place on buttered pan. Starting at center, press out dough with hands (to fit pizza pan or into a 12-inch round on cookie sheet). Bake 6 to 7 minutes or until crust begins to brown.

Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine eggs, half and half, salt and pepper; beat well. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add egg mixture, cook and stir until cooked but still moist. Remove from heat. Stir together cream cheese and bacon. Set aside.

Spoon cooked egg mixture over partially baked crust. Drop cream cheese mixture by teaspoonfuls over eggs. Arrange tomatoes slices on top, if desired. Bake for an additional 8 to 12 minutes or until toppings are heated through and crust is golden.

Comments from Nancy Otto :

Additional toppings can be added, such as shredded cheese or minced green onion.
