Total Time:

Ingredients:

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. onion, minced
2 tbsp. milk
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2/3 cup chili sauce
2/3 cup grape jelly

Directions:

Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, milk, garlic, salt and pepper. Form into bite-size meatballs using a rounded teaspoon for each. Brown meatballs lightly in oil. Cover, cook over low heat 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Combine chili sauce and jelly; pour over meatballs. Heat, stirring occasionally, until jelly is melted. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes until sauce thickens, basting meatballs several times.
