Total Time:

Ingredients:

1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (16 oz.) Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (16 oz.) green beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (16 oz.) yellow wax beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup onion, minced
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Directions:

Combine beans and onion in a large bowl. Whisk remaining ingredients in a small bowl and pour over bean mixture, tossing to distribute dressing evenly. Cover and chill at least one hour.

Comments from Nancy Otto :

Adding fresh herbs makes a nice change. Just before serving add 1 tablespoon minced fresh basil OR 1/4 cup minced parsley.
