1-2/3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp. vinegar
3/4 cup vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 ripe banana

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a square pan, 8x8x2-inch. In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Stir in mashed ripe banana; beat until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
