Ingredients:

1 pkg. (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate morsels
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
3 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
24 whole almonds, toasted
1/2 cup almonds, finely chopped

Directions:

Place chocolate morsels in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts. Add butter and powdered sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating with an electric mixer after each addition. Pour mixture into a bowl; cover and let sit 12 hours in a cool,dry place (do not refrigerate). Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; insert 1 whole almond in center of each ball. Roll lightly in chopped almonds.

Microwave Directions:
Place chocolate morsels in a 1-quart glass bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 2 to 3 minutes or until chocolate is softened; stir well. Add butter and powdered sugar, stirring untilpowdered sugar dissolves. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating with an electric mixer after each addition. Pour mixture into a bowl; cover and let sit 12 hours in a cool, dry place (do not refrigerate). Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; insert 1 whole almond in center of each ball. Roll lightly in chopped almonds.
