2 oz. bittersweet chocolate
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
|
Melt chocolate with butter in a double boiler or on very low heat. Remove from heat. Add sugar and beaten eggs. Stir quickly. Fold in flour, vanilla, and nuts. Bake at 300°F for about 50 minutes in a greased 9x6-inch pan. Do not overcook. Cool one hour and cut into squares.
