Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups unsifted flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup cold margarine or butter
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in 1/2 c. chips; press firmly on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in same bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla; stir in remaining 1-1/2 c. chips and nuts. Spread evenly over prepared crust. Bake 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature.
