Prep. Time:

Total Time:

Ingredients:

2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2/3 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1-1/2 cups Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

Directions:

Butter an 8-inch square pan. In medium saucepan, combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, vanilla and nuts. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows melt completely. Pour into pan. Cool and cut into squares.

Comments from Linda Robinson :

For thicker fudge, use a 7x5-inch loaf pan.

User Reviews:

The flavor? Wonderful! The.... viscosity? Thicker than hot fudge, but squishy, not firm. It kinda sorta stays cut. I'm sure I did something wrong, but can't figure it out. Give it a try yourself, though. I'm sure that my problem was user error somewhere. :)

The best fudge my husband and I have ever had!!! It is so good and pretty easy!

I love fudge, but mine has never turned out right. One year, we were eating my fudge as ice cream sauce. Even I can't mess this recipe up.
